Toffee Samosas

Ingredients to make Toffee Samosas

  • 1 bowl maida
  • salt 1 tsp
  • Ajwain 3/4 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Green chilli 1 tsp
  • coriander 1 tsp
  • Mashed boiled potatoes 3-4
  • Amchoor powder 1 tsp
  • Grated ginger 1 tsp
  • oil 2 tsp and for frying

How to make Toffee Samosas

  1. TAKE 1 CUP FLOUR, ADD 1 TSP SALT
  2. ADD 3/4 TSP CAROM SEEDS, 2 TSP OIL, MIX WELL
  3. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER, KNEAD INTO A DOUGH, KEEP ASIDE
  4. TAKE 3-4 BOILED & MASHED POTATOES, ADD 1 TSP EACH OF GRATED GINGER, GREEN CHILLIES & FRESH CORIANDER
  5. ADD SALT, 1 TSP AMCHOOR, 1/4 TSP PEPPER POWDER, MIX
  6. TAKE A SMALL BALL OF DOUGH, ROLL INTO A POORI
  7. PLACE 1 TBSP READY POTATO MIX IN THE CENTRE
  8. FOLD & SHAPE INTO A TOFFEE LIKE THIS
  9. CRIMP THE EDGES
  10. GET ALL THE TOFFEES READY TO FRY
  11. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
