Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Pita bread 3
  2. Boneless chicken 300 gms
  3. Onion chopped 1/2 cup
  4. Sliced red pepper 1/4 cup
  5. Sliced yellow peppers 1/4 cup
  6. Sliced green peppers 1/4 cup
  7. Iceberg lettuce chopped
  8. Garlic 3-4 flakes
  9. Jeera powder 3 tsp
  10. Chilli powder 3tsp
  11. Lemon juice 3 tbsp
  12. Sugar a pinch
  13. Salt to taste
  14. oil 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Cut the boneless chicken in small pieces. Add salt, 2tsp red chiilies, 1 tsp jeera powder, a tsp of oil and a tbsp of lemon juice in it. Mix well and rest it for some time say about 10 mins
  2. In a pan pour few drops of oil, add chopped onions and garlic and saute,
  3. When onion turns soft add chicken in it and cook covered.
  4. When chicken is 75 percent cooked,add red green and yellow pepper in it.
  5. Add salt, remaining chilli powder,jeera powder.in it and cook further.
  6. Add chopped lettuce to the cooked chicken.
  7. In a small bowl add 1 tbsp of olive oil, lemon juice and pinch of sugar and mix well
  8. Add this lemon oil drawing on the chicken and keep aside
  9. Take a pan and toast the pita bread on both the sides.
  10. Cut bita bread into two halves
  11. Take one half and fill the chicken fajita mix in it .
  12. Repeat the same procedure for other half and rest pita bread.
  13. Serve chicken fajita pockets just like that or with some sauce of your choice
  14. Repeat the same
