About Rava Bangda Fry Recipe

Banda can be fried many ways. I have used rava to fry the bangda. Its a dish very popular in my native town

Rava Bangda Fry

Ingredients to make Rava Bangda Fry

  • 4Bangda fish
  • 2tablespoon red chilli powder
  • 1tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 turmeric powder
  • 1tea spoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2tablespoon kokam juice
  • salt to taste
  • Bombay Rava as required
  • oil for shallow fry

How to make Rava Bangda Fry

  1. Wash and give cuts on bangda fish
  2. Mix all the ingredients except rava and make a paste
  3. Take bangda and apply chilli paste all around on bangda. Inside and outside.
  4. Roll into rava
  5. Heat tawa add oil
  6. Shallow fry on tawa from both the sides.
  7. Serve with lemon and onion slices

My Tip:

If you dont have kokam juice you can use lemon juice or tamrind juice.
