Ingredients to make Bangda fish fry

  • Bangda fish pieces 8 to 9, cleaned
  • For fish masala powder:
  • Whole red chillies (dried ones) 4
  • Whole jeera 2 tsp
  • Whole coriander 2 tsp
  • Whole sauf 1 tsp
  • Whole rai 1 tsp
  • For marination:
  • Fish masala powder 2 tbsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • lemon 1
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • water 2 tbsp

How to make Bangda fish fry

  1. Clean the fish and keep aside. In bowl add fish masala powder, turmeric powder, salt, lemon, oil, water and marinate. Keep for 15 minutes.
  2. For fish masala powder - Roast all ingredients together and then grind it.
  3. After marinating, heat oil in a pan and shallow fry it.

My Tip:

You can coat with rawa (semolina) and then fry it for a crispy bangda fry.
