ABOUT Bangada fish fry ( Mackrel fish fry) RECIPE

Its a maharastrian dish. And my husband loves bangada fish. So usually i prepare this item.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bangada fish(Mackrel fish)-4 pieces(2 whole fish cut into halves)
  2. Ginger-garlic paste-2tablespoon
  3. Chilli powder- 1 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Turmeric- 1/2teaspoon
  5. Salt-as per your taste
  6. Lemon-1/2 of a whole lemon
  7. Rice flour- 5tablespoon
  8. Mustard oil-2-3tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Wash the fish pieces properly, drain out all the the water. Now squeez the lemon into it.
  2. Now add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt. Mix it and set aside for 5-6mins.
  3. Now add, the rice flour and mix it well with hands. Meanwhile get a khadai/tawa.
  4. Put mustard oil into it, once it's smoky hot, lower the flame and put the fish pieces into it. And fry it till it's crisp and completely done.
  5. Serve it with roti or rice
