ABOUT Fish Fry RECIPE

Crispy from the outside, soft and juicy from the inside. Fried fish is a great treat that tastes best with steamed rice and sambhar.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pomfret/ Seer fish 1/4 kg
  2. Marination Ingredients:
  3. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  4. Chilli powder 2-3 tsp
  5. Coriander powder 1 and 1/2 tsp
  6. Kasoori methi 1/4 tsp
  7. Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Corn flour 2-3 tsp
  9. Vinegar 1 tsp
  10. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil to fry

Instructions

  1. Wash and clean the fish well.
  2. Mix the marination ingredients well together with the fish and leave it to marinate in a bowl. Leave it in the fridge for 2 hours.
  3. After this time, heat the oil in a non-stick skillet and shallow fry the fish pieces.
  4. Serve it hot with steamed rice, sambhar or rasam. It makes a great combination.
