About Mushroom matar Recipe

Presenting Yet another very famous punjabi recipe also termed as khumb matar.

Mushroom matar

Ingredients to make Mushroom matar

  • Button mushrooms chopped 2 cups
  • Green peas 1/2cup
  • onion finely chopped 1 cup
  • Garam masala 2 tsp
  • dhania powder 2 tsp
  • red chilli powder 2 tsp
  • curd 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil 2 tbsp

How to make Mushroom matar

  1. Take a pan. Pour oil in it.
  2. Add chopped onion and fry until it turns pink.
  3. Now add peas and mushrooms in it. Cook covered until water evaporate
  4. Add salt, dhania powder, chilli powder mix ,cover and cook.
  5. When u see oil coming on sides add 2 tbsp of beaten curd in it and mix well.
  6. Cook until the liquid evaporates.
  7. Your subzi is ready but need to add garam Masala at last. Mix well and serve
