Ingredients to make Phirni cake with chocolaty malpua

  • Milk 1 cup
  • Basmati rice 2 tablespoons soaked for 30 minutes
  • sugar 1/4 cup
  • Green cardamon powder 1/4 tbsp
  • almonds for garnishing
  • For malpua
  • Refined flour 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder 1/4 tsp
  • Chocolate syrup 4 tbsp
  • mawa 1/4 cup
  • Milk as required
  • ghee for frying
  • Warm sugar syrup 2 cups

How to make Phirni cake with chocolaty malpua

  1. To prepare phirni, heat milk in a non stick Pan and bring to boil..
  2. Grind drained rice along with 1 to 2 tablespoon water to make a smooth mixture
  3. add grind rice to boiled milk mix and cooked in rice is done and mixture thickness stirring occasionally..
  4. To prepare Malpua better take flour in a bowl add milk, add chocolate syrup, baking powder, Mawa and some milk and mix well to make a semi thick and smooth better set aside for 10 to 12 minutes..
  5. Add cardamom powder to phirni and mix well remove from heat and bring down to room temperature..
  6. Pour the phirni into the spring bottom cheesecake tin filling half of it. garnish with Almond..
  7. Heat some ghee in another non stick Pan pour in a teaspoon of Malpua better and Shallow fry on medium low heat, till golden brown to make mini Malpua...
  8. Take sugar syrup in a bowl drain in the Malpua in it and soak for 1 minute..
  9. Demould the phirni and cut into roundels using a medium size Cookie Cutter..
  10. Place a medium size cookie-cutter on a serving platter, put in some biscuit crumbs press and demould..
  11. Place phirni cake roundels on top of biscuit crumb layer and place soaked Malpua on the sides...
  12. garnish with some chocolate syrup, Almonds pista slices and serve immediately

My Tip:

You can make Malpua without using chocolate syrup..
