Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour 2 cups
  2. Arhar daal 1 cup
  3. Ghee 2 tbsp
  4. Cumin seed 2 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder 2 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  7. Coriander powder 3 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Oil as desired
  10. Yellow urad daal 2 tbsp
  11. Garam masala 1 tsp
  12. Bay leaves 2
  13. Boora sugar 2 cups
  14. Gram flour 1 cup
  15. Curd 1 cup
  16. Coriander leaves a handful
  17. Asafoetida a pinch
  18. Baking Soda a pinch
  19. Mango 1
  20. Sugar to taste
  21. Black salt 1/2 tsp
  22. Jeera methi powder 1 tsp
  23. Dry fruits of your choice
  24. Pickle(pre prepared)
  25. Papad/dry mirch (fried)
  26. Salad(freshly cut)
  27. Chutneys(pre prepared)


  1. Bati-Prepare hard dough of wheat flour.add little soda in it. add moin of ghee and prepare baatis in bati maker over gas.
  2. Daal tadka-prepare arhar daal in cooker.for tempering heat ghee in a pan add cumin seeds and red chilli powder.pour over daal.garnish with coriander leaves.
  3. Bharta-roast brinjal.chop onions and tomato.heat oil crackle cumin seeds.saute onion tomato.peel the cover of brinjal mash it nicely.add red chilli powder and salt.cook it for 5 minutes.yum bharta ready.
  4. Choorma-make 3- 4 unsalted batis.grind them in mixer.add boora sugar and ghee in it.you can make laddoos too.
  5. Mogar-soak yellow daal for an hour.heat oil crackle cumin seeds bay leaves cloves black pepper.add soaked daal after draining water.add turmeric powder and salt.cover it with a plate filled with water.when it is cooked little add red chilli powder garam masala amchoor powder.let it cook till soft .garnish with coriander leaves.
  6. Buttermilk -blend curd add water to make buttermilk.heat oil crackle musturd seeds jeera methi powder salt asafoetida.transfer the tempering to the buttermilk.
  7. Gatte ki sabzi-make dough of gramflour add little soda red chilli powder turmeric powder in it.then roll it and make gatte.let it cook in boiling water till 10-12 minutes .don't drain water .heat oil crackle cumin seeds asafoetida all spices .Then add beaten curd in it let it cook for few minutes.add gatte then water.add more beaten curd .let it cook till gatte are soft.garnish with coriander leaves.
  8. Missi roti-take gramflour,wheat flour , coriander leaves salt red chilli powder prepare dough..prepare roti and apply butter or ghee.
  9. Different chutney papad salad are also included
