About Cashew Masala curry. Recipe

A dish that can b made during some occasions or on festivals. This can b served with ghee rice, pulav or any rotis.

Cashew Masala curry.

Ingredients to make Cashew Masala curry.

  • Fried cashew nuts 1 cup
  • cream 4 or 5 tsp
  • onion 1
  • tomato 2
  • jeera 1/2 tsp
  • ginger a small piece
  • garlic 4,5 cloves
  • chilli powder 1tsp
  • coriander powder 1tsp
  • Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Kasuri methi 1/4 tsp
  • salt
  • coriander leaves a few chopped.
  • oil 3 tbsp

How to make Cashew Masala curry.

  1. Heat a pan with 1 tbsp of oil. Add jeera , ginger & garlic. Fry. Then add onion & tomato. Fry well for a few minutes.
  2. Let it cool. Then add 4 cashewnut s & grind altogether to a fine paste.
  3. Heat a pan with the rest of oil. Add ground Masala. Fry for a few seconds. Add chilli , coriander, turmeric, & garam Masala powders & fry for some more time.
  4. Add cashew nuts along with enough water to cook & salt. Cover & cook till done.
  5. Add cream & coriander leaves. Stir well. Remove from fire after 1 min.
  6. Serve hot with pulav,ghee rice or any rotis.

My Tip:

Add water according to the consistency of gravy u prefer.
