Badam kheer

Ingredients to make Badam kheer

  • 1/3 tin milkmaid
  • 4 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cupalmonds
  • 1/3cup cashewnuts
  • 1/4tsp almonds essence

How to make Badam kheer

  1. Blanch almonds and remove skin.
  2. Soak almonds and cashewnuts in 1 1/2cup of hot milk for 30 minutes.griend to acoarse paste using the same milk gradully.
  3. Heat the remaining milk to boil,let it thicken on slow flame for 10-15mins.now add milkmaid and ground almonds paste and cook for another 5-10minutes with constant stirring.
  4. Remove from fire.cool and add almonds essence.
  5. Serve hot or cool garnished with silvered almonds and silver wrap.
