Pineapple Coleslaw

Ingredients to make Pineapple Coleslaw

  • 3 cups coleslaw mix (thinly chopped or sliced cabbage, red , purple or green, with a slicer or a mandolin) you can add shredded carrots too.
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple fruits finely chopped or unsweetened crushed pineapple, drained (I cup after it’s drained)
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seeds/dill seeds/cumin seeds/ pinch of roasted cumin powder will also work well.
  • 1/3 cup fresh yogurt, whisked to a thick texture.
  • You can add some dill leaves too .
  • ½ cup Chopped celery stalks
  • Pinch of salt.
  • Pinch of white pepper
  • ½ tsp mustard powder (readily available in the stores )

How to make Pineapple Coleslaw

  1. take a large bowl, combine the ingredients.
  2. Add the whisked yogurt. and toss to coat. The yogurt will give a beautiful creamy texture
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour
  4. Enjoy chilled refreshing pineapple coleslaw
