About Mango Curry Recipe

A very very delicious dish, but these mangoes are available for a very short period of time. It can be eaten everyday by mango lovers.

Mango Curry

Ingredients to make Mango Curry

  • Mangoes desi (small mangoes ) yellow and ripe 8
  • curd 3 tbsp (thick)
  • sugar 7 tsp or as per taste
  • salt 1+ 1/2 tsp
  • Desi ghee 1 tbsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tsp

How to make Mango Curry

  1. Squeeze the mango pulp and keep the stones aside.
  2. In a heavy bottomed pan heat the ghee, add turmeric and red chilli powder. Then immediately add the mango pulp and stones.
  3. Keep stirring and add the sugar and salt. Keep boiling on a low heat for 20 mins.
  4. Add the well beaten curd to the mango mixture and keep stirring for another 7-8 mins. If its thick add some hot water.
  5. Serve it warm for best taste.
