About Raisin Apple Pie Recipe

A perfect fruit pie for an evening party. Made out of succulent raisins and the juiciest apples.

Raisin Apple Pie

Ingredients to make Raisin Apple Pie

  • apples 2 medium de skinned and cut into small pieces
  • Raisin 1/2 cup
  • Whole wheat flour 1cup
  • Plain flour 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar 2 tablespoons
  • cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon
  • olive oil 2 tablespoon
  • salt 1/4th teaspoon

How to make Raisin Apple Pie

  1. Mix the cut apples, raisins, cinnamon powder, 2 tablespoons of whole wheat flour, brown sugar and few drops of oil in a bowl.
  2. Then mix the whole wheat flour, plain flour, salt and the oil to a breadcrumb consistency.
  3. Now kneed it well to form a ball.
  4. Now take two thirds of the dough and divide them into two. Roll them with hands and line greased pie tins.
  5. Put the filling and cover the filling with the left over dough. I have used a criss cross design.
  6. Now bake for 1 hour in a preheated oven at 180°C.
