Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Medium sized Chicken pieces (boneless) 18 pieces
  2. For marination -
  3. Salt 1 tbsp
  4. Lemon juice 3 tbsp
  5. Hung curd / fresh cream 1 cup
  6. Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  7. Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  8. Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  9. Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  10. Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
  11. Kasuri methi powder 1 tbsp
  12. Kashmiri Chilli powder 1 tbsp
  13. Red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp
  14. Red food color 1 tbsp
  15. For frying -
  16. Large onion 3
  17. Salt 1/2 tsp
  18. Veg oil 4 tbsp
  19. Butter 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces with half tbsp salt and 2 tbsp lemon juice for 15 minutes.
  2. Take 1 cup of hung curd or fresh cream, add 1/2 tbs lemon juice, and all the masalas mentioned. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp red food color. Mix the mixture with the marinated chicken.
  3. Pre heat the oven at 250 degrees for 2 minutes. Put the chicken pieces into the skewer and grill for 25 minutes. Take it out after resting for 2 minutes.
  4. Heat veg oil in a kadhai. Fry the onion till translucent. Add the chicken pieces. Put 1/2 tsp lemon juice. Add salt if needed. And cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot with pudina chutney.
