About Bedmi puri aloo Recipe

Bedmi puri is a famous pure vegetarian, traditional breakfast served with aloo ki sabji. In north india bedmai aloo is popular street food usualy served as a breakfast or an early brunch.

Ingredients to make Bedmi puri aloo

  • 1/2 cup urad dal
  • 2 cup wheat flour
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • 1/2 cumin seeds
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1tsp dry mango powder
  • 1tsp grnger paste

How to make Bedmi puri aloo

  1. Wash n soak urad dal in warm water for 1 or 2 hours.
  2. Drain water n transfer to grinder jar, add green chilli, hing, cumin seeds n grind to make a smooth paste.
  3. In a big bowl take wheat flour, add salt, 1 spoon oil n mix with your hand.
  4. Then add urad daal paste, ginger paste, dry mango powder n kned soft dough by using hot water.
  5. Now take small boll size dough and roll disk size puries with rolling pin.
  6. Heat oil in a pan n deep fry puries on both side till golden.
  7. Serve hot with aloo ki sabji, raita n pickle...
