About Fish Orlay Recipe

Yummy Orlay Fish deep fried and eaten with tartare dip

Fish Orlay

Ingredients to make Fish Orlay

  • Fish 1/2 kg
  • maida 5 tsp
  • cornflour 3 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • White pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Drinking soda for batter

How to make Fish Orlay

  1. Wash the fish well using garlic mixed water.
  2. Strain and keep it aside for 5 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix maida, cornflour, salt, white pepper and drinking soda.
  4. Use drinking soda such that the batter should neither be too thin nor too thick.
  5. Dip each piece of fish in the batter onw by one and deep fry all the pieces.
  6. Once it is about to be completely fried, take the pieces out.
  7. Press the pieces a bit and fry it again as a final go.
  8. Your Orlay fish is ready to be eaten with tartare dip.
