Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 200 gms granulated sugar
  2. 220 gms all purpose flour
  3. 150 gms butter
  4. 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
  5. 1 and 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  6. 2-3 tbsp milk
  7. 3 eggs
  8. 4 chopped peaches


  1. Cream the butter and sugar with an electric hand beater until it's creamy and fluffy.
  2. Add egg one at a time and beat for 20 seconds after each addition, finally beat the mixture until it becomes pale yellow.
  3. Add vanilla and beat for for 10-15 seconds.
  4. Add the sifted flour (blend and sieve the baking powder and all purpose flour 2-3 times)
  5. Mix well until it's smooth and add milk as required.
  6. Add the chopped peaches and mix with the help of a wooden spatula.
  7. Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 40-45 mins or until the skewer comes out clean. (Preheat the oven for 10-15 mins).
  8. Let it cool and cut in slices and serve.
