A delicious dal made with all the lentils available in the kitchen.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1/2cup whole black urad
  2. 1/2cup red Rajma
  3. 2tbs whole masoor
  4. 2tbs whole green moong
  5. 2tbs moth
  6. Salt
  7. 1/4tsp red chilli
  8. 1/4tsp cumin seeds.
  9. 1/4tsp garam masala
  10. 2 onion
  11. 2 tomatoes
  12. 2 green chillies.
  13. 1tbs gng paste.
  14. 4tbs desi ghee.
  15. Coriander leaves.

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dals and soak them 20 minutes.
  2. Put in the cooker with salt.
  3. After 1 whistle cook on simmer till 15 minutes.
  4. If needed then add and cook open without lid.
  5. Heat ghee and put cumin seeds.
  6. Add chopped onion.
  7. Add ginger garlic paste.
  8. Add tomatoes.
  9. Add green chillies.
  10. Cook and add red chilli.
  11. Temper the tadka in dal.
  12. Sprinkle garam masala.
  13. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  14. Serve with tandoori roti.
