About Punjabi Cholle Recipe

Everybody loves chole and this is how i make it at home.

Punjabi Cholle

Ingredients to make Punjabi Cholle

  • 2 cup soaked n boil chick peas
  • 2 onions.
  • 2 tomatoes.
  • 1tbs gng paste.
  • 1tea bag
  • salt
  • 1tsp chana masala.
  • 1/4tsp red chilli powder.
  • 1piece dalchini
  • 2 big cardomom.
  • 1/4tsp cumin seeds.
  • 4 tbs mustard oil.

How to make Punjabi Cholle

  1. In a karahi heat mustard oil.
  2. Put cumin seeds,big cardamom, dalchini.
  3. Add roughly chopped onions, tomatoes & ginger garlic paste.
  4. Cook it well.
  5. Add salt & all masalas.
  6. Now add chickpeas without water.
  7. Mix in the masala.
  8. Now add the chick peas water to the masala.
  9. Cook till it thickens.
  10. Garnish with green chilli, onion, tomato and paneer cubes.
  11. Serve with rice, poori or kulchas.

My Tip:

U can add tea bag while boil the chana.
