It cannot be called a dish but it truely reminds me India and my moms place. It is just boiled with potatoes in it and served with ghee and green chill. When we used to die for eating this particular plate of goodies.

Gobindobhog Bhaat aar ghee/ Flavoured rice with ghee and potatoes.

Ingredients to make Gobindobhog Bhaat aar ghee/ Flavoured rice with ghee and potatoes.

  • Gobindobhog rice or jasmine rice or kalajeera rice anything will do - 1 cup
  • Lots of ghee.
  • salt.
  • 4 to 5 potatoes
  • Green chilli - 2

How to make Gobindobhog Bhaat aar ghee/ Flavoured rice with ghee and potatoes.

  1. Wash the rice and in boiling water put it.
  2. Add salt to the rice also the potatoes to it.
  3. Let it boil and become soft. Add the green chillis to it.
  4. Do not drain the water let the rice be lil mushy mushy.
  5. Plate it by putting lots of ghee and take some more green chillis and BINGO!

My Tip:

If the green chillis are adeed while the rice is boiling it gives an addes flavour to the rice.
