Ingredients to make Banana stem curry

  • banana stem chopped 2 cup
  • water
  • salt to taste
  • Grated coconut 1 cup
  • Sambar powder 2 tsp
  • tamarind 1/2 gooseberry sized

How to make Banana stem curry

  1. REMOVE THE OUTER LAYERS AND TAKE INNER CORE OF BANANA STEM
  2. CUT INTO THIN SLICES, LONG THREAD LIKE FIBRES ARE SEEN BETWEEN THE SLICES
  3. WIND THERE ROUND THE FOREFINGER AND DISCARD
  4. CHOP THE SLICES INTO SMALL PIECES
  5. COMBINE CHOPPED PIECES, SALT, WATER, COVER AND COOK
  6. GRIND GRATED COCONUT, TAMARIND, SAMBAR POWDER, SOME WATER
  7. GRIND SMOOTHLY
  8. CHECK THE COOKNESS
  9. ADD GROUND PASTE
  10. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER
  11. MIX WELL
  12. BRING IT TO BOIL FINELY, TURN OFF THE FLAME AND SERVE
