Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ripe wild mangoes 5-6
  2. Coconut gratings I cup
  3. Red chilli 2-3
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Jaggery 1 lemon sized
  6. Garlic pods 3-4
  7. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  8. Water
  9. Tamarind syrup 2-3 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  11. For seasoning...
  12. Coconut oil 2 tsp
  13. Red chilli 1
  14. Curry leaves few
  15. Garlic pods 6-8
  16. Mustard seeds 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. REMOVE THE TOP OF RIPE WILD MANGOES
  2. PEEL OFF ALL
  3. SQUEEZE THE PEELS
  4. HEAT 2 TSP OF COCONUT OIL, ADD MUSTARD SEEDS, LET IT SPLUTTER
  5. ADD RED CHILLI AND GARLIC
  6. FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN, ADD CURRY LEAVES
  7. ADD IN SQUEEZED MANGOES
  8. SALT TO TASTE
  9. JAGGERY 1 LEMON SIZED
  10. RED CHILLI POWDER 1 TSP
  11. MIX WELL
  12. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER, COVER AND COOK
  13. COCONUT GRATINGS 1 CUP
  14. RED CHILLI 2, TAMARIND SYRUP 2-3 TSP, TURMERIC POWDER 1/4 TSP
  15. ADD SOME WATER AND GRIND SMOOTHLY
  16. CHECK THE PASTE, ADD 3-4 PODS OF PEELED GARLIC, CONTINUE GRINDING
  17. OPEN THE LID, CHECK THE COOKNESS
  18. ADD GROUND PASTE
  19. MIX WELL, BRING IT TO BOIL
  20. ALLOW IT TO BOIL FINELY FOR 3-4 MINUTES, SERVE WITH HOT RICE
