Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fish 4 pieces
  2. Onion chopped 1 small size
  3. Tomato chopped 1 medium sized
  4. Green cilli 2, nigella seeds 1 teaspoon
  5. Mustard oil for cooking about 4 table spoon
  6. Ginger Cumin paste
  7. Salt and sugar as required
  8. Mustard paste 3 table spoon + 1 teaspoon termaric powder

Instructions

  1. TAKE 4 FISH PIECES, ADD 1 TSP TURMERIC, 1/2 TSP SALT, RUB WELL, SET ASIDE FOR 15 MINS
  2. HEAT 4 TBSP MUSTARD OIL, SHALLOW FRY THE MARINATED FISH PIECES
  3. FLIP & FRY FROM BOTH SIDES
  4. COVER & COOK FOR 3-4 MINS ON LOW HEAT
  5. TAKE OFF HEAT WHEN GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP LIKE THIS, SET ASIDE
  6. ADD 1/2 TSP NIGELLA SEEDS, 1 SLICED ONION INTO THE HOT OIL, SAUTE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  7. ADD 1 CHOPPED TOMATO, COOK UNTIL SOFT
  8. ADD 1 TBSP CUMIN SEEDS-GINGER PASTE
  9. ADD 1 CUP WATER
  10. ADD THE FRIED FISH PIECES
  11. ADD 1/4 CUP MUSTARD PASTE, 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, MIX
  12. ADD 1/4 CUP WATER, SALT TO TASTE
  13. ADD 2 GREEN CHILLIES, 2 TSP MUSTARD OIL, COVER & SIMMER FOR 5 MINS ON LOW HEAT, SERVE HOT WITH RICE
