Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Rice flour - 1/2 kg
  2. Hot water for dough - 2 glass
  3. For filling
  4. Boiled potatoes - 6 to 7 big
  5. Bay leaf - 1
  6. cumin seeds - 1/ 2 tspn
  7. Red chillies - 4
  8. haldi - 1 tspn
  9. Red chilli powder - 1 tspn
  10. Black pepper powder -1/ 2 tspn
  11. Dhaniya powder - 1 tspn
  12. Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
  13. peanuts - 3 tspn

Instructions

  1. TAKE RICE FLOUR AND MAKE DOUGH USING HOT WATER
  2. HEAT OIL, ADD ONIONS, BAY LEAF, CUMIN SEEDS AND ALL MASALAS. ONCE DONE, ADD BOILED POTATOES AND MASH THEM
  3. MAKE SMALL BALLS AND PREPARE TO FILL THE POTATO STUFFING
  4. PRESS LIGHTLY AND COVER IT MAKING A BALL
  5. BOIL WATER IN A KADHAI, ADD FEW DROPS OF OIL
  6. ADD THE PEETHAS ONE BY ONE SLOWLY
  7. ADD AS MANY AS EACH ONE GETS COVERED IN WATER.
  8. PARTIALLY COVER THEM AND ALLOW TO COOK
  9. THE WATER WILL CHANGE COLOR
  10. ONCE ITS DONE, TAKE IT OUT USING A SEIVE
  11. AND IMMERSE THEM IN NORMAL COLD WATER
  12. SLOWLY PUT THEM IN A CONTAINER
  13. ALLOW THEM TO COOL DOWN
  14. AALOO PEETHA IS READY TO SERVE
