ABOUT Cream of Mushroom Soup RECIPE

Cream of mushroom soup is a simple type of soup where onion and mashoom broth are thinned with cream or milk and then mushrooms are added. It is traditional recipe from The North America and Italian cuisine. It is also common type of condensed canned soup.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. onion chopped 1 big
  2. mushroom 10 big
  3. Black pepper 2 teaspoon
  4. salt to taste
  5. butter 1 tablespoon
  6. cream 1/4 cup
  7. water

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a pan. Add chopped onion. Saute till turns to translucent.
  2. Add chopped mushrooms. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Add coarsely crushed black pepper.
  4. Add water.
  5. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Preserve half of mushroom for garnishing.
  6. Strain the remaining in soup strainer.
  7. Put in mixture grinder.
  8. Grind boiled onion and mushroom in fine paste.
  9. Take them in the pan. No need to strain. Add the preserved boils mushroom.
  10. Boil them and add cooking cream.
  11. Add salt as per taste.
  12. Cream of mushroom soup is ready to serve in this rainy evening for dinner.
