Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maize rava 1 1/4 cup
  2. Banana 3
  3. Jaggery 3/4 cup
  4. Coconut milk 1 1/2 cup
  5. Butter 2tbsp
  6. Salt a pinch

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1 1/2 CUP COCONUT MILK BY BLENDING 1/2 CUP COCONUT
  2. IN A MIXER JAR, ADD SLICED BANANA AND CRUSHED JAGGERY
  3. BLEND INTO A SMOOTH PULP
  4. TAKE 2 TBSP BUTTER/ GHEE AND 1 1/4 CUP MAIZE RAVA
  5. IN A PAN, ADD BUTTER AND LET IT MELT
  6. NOW ADD MAIZE RAWA AND ROAST
  7. WHEN A NICE AROMA COMES, TAKE OFF FROM HEAT
  8. IN A BOWL, TAKE THE ROASTED RAVA AND ADD COCONUT MILK TO IT.
  9. THEN ADD THE BANANA JAGGERY PULP AND A PINCH OF SALT
  10. COMBINE THEM WELL
  11. TO A GREASED CAKE TIN OR METAL PLATE OR BOWL, POUR IN THE PREPARED BATTER
  12. HEAT THE TAWA AND PLACE A STAND ON IT
  13. PLACE THE CAKE TIN OVER IT
  14. NOW CAREFULLY CLOSE IT OVER WITH A LARGE LID OR A BIG VESSEL, LARGE ENOUGH TO COVER THE TAWA SURFACE
  15. COOK IN MEDIUM FLAME FOR 10 MINUTES AND THEN IN LOW FLAME FOR 15-20 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE
  16. TAKE OUT FROM HEAT. COOL DOWN. SLICE AND SERVE
