Ingredients to make wheat maize chocolate cup cake

  • wheat flour 1 cup
  • maize flour 1 cup
  • cane sugar/ brown sugar 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
  • baking soda 1 Tsp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • Vegetable oil 1/2 Cup
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract 1tsp
  • vinegar 2 tsp

How to make wheat maize chocolate cup cake

  1. Preheat oven at 180 c for 10 mins
  2. line the cupcake pan with paper bake cups
  3. seive and mix all the dry ingredients except sugar
  4. add vinegar and milk together and let it stand for a minute( you can also use butter milk instead of this mix)
  5. add sugar with the milk mixture and whip for a minute till sugar melts
  6. add other liquid ingredients and whip
  7. pour the ingredients to 3/4 of the pan
  8. bake it in a preheated oven for 20 mins
  9. rest the pan in the oven for another 5 mins
  10. cool it on the cooling rack
  11. after cooling u can top it with whipped cream with choco chips

My Tip:

1.Keep every thing on the room temperature. 2.The measurement of sugar here is mild .. so if u are sweet toothed you can add another 1/2 cup but be careful it might get watery if cane sugar is used. 3. Keep all the ingredients in room temperature 4. Adding frosting gives better results 5.you can store it in refrigerator for a week
