Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Palak leaves 1 bunch
  2. Rice cooked 1 cup
  3. Rice flour 2 cup
  4. Jeera 1 tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Cooking oil 1/2 cup
  7. Grated coconut 1 cup

Instructions

  1. DRY FRY CHOPPED PALAK UNTIL TRANSLUCENT
  2. ADD JEERA, GRATED COCONUT, COOKED RICE, TAKE OFF FLAME, GRIND UNTIL SMOOTH PASTE
  3. TRANSFER THE GROUND PASTE INTO A PAN
  4. ADD RICE FLOUR 1 CUP, SALT TO TASTE, MIX WELL
  5. ADD ONE MORE CUP OF RICE FLOUR, MIX WELL TILL SMOOTH DOUGH
  6. MAKE EQUAL SIZED DOUGH BALLS
  7. PRESS ONE BY ONE BY COVERING OILY ROTI PAPERS
  8. REMOVE THE UPPER SHEET, CUT PRESSED ROTI INTO SMALL ROUNDS
  9. REMOVE OUTER PARTS
  10. GREASE HOT TAWA AND FRY THE VADAS IN MEDIUM FLAME FOR 4 MINUTES
  11. DRIZZLE SOME OIL, FLIP AND COOK
  12. REMOVE THE PALAK VADAS AND SERVE IN HOT
