  1. Lady's finger 1/4 kg
  2. Tamarind 1 lemon sized
  3. Jaggery 1 lemon sized
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Water
  6. Onion 2 big sized
  7. Toor dal 1 cup
  8. Coconut oil 2 tsp
  9. Coriander seeds 2 tsp
  10. Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  11. Urad dal 1 tsp
  12. Byadagi chilli 2
  13. Turmeric powder a pinch
  14. Curry leaves 1 string
  15. Coconut gratings 1 cup
  16. For seasoning....
  17. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  18. Coconut oil 1 tsp
  19. Red chilli 1

Instructions

  1. BRING INTO BOIL LEMON SIZED TAMARIND SOAKED WATER 2 CUP
  2. ADD LEMON SIZED JAGGERY, SALT TO TASTE AND CHOPPED LADY'S FINGER 1/4 KG, COVER AND LET IT COOK WELL
  3. CHECK COOKNESS, ADD CHOPPED ONION 2 BIG SIZED
  4. ADD FINELY MASHABLE COOKED TOOR DAL 1 CUP, CONTINUE COOKING IN LOW FLAME
  5. HEAT 2 TSP COCONUT OIL, ADD BYADAGI CHILLI 2, CORIANDER SEEDS 2 TSP
  6. MUSTARD SEEDS 1/2 TSP, URAD DAL 1 TSP
  7. ADD TURMERIC POWDER, CURRY LEAVES 1 STRING, TAKE OFF FLAME
  8. GRATED COCONUT 1 CUP
  9. ADD FRIED INGREDIENTS, SOME WATER AND GRIND SMOOTHLY
  10. TRANSFER THE GROUND MASALA INTO COOKED LADY'S FINGER, ADD SUFFICIENT WATER
  11. ADD SEASONING OF MUSTARD SEEDS AND RED CHILLI INTO BOILING CURRY, TAKE OFF FLAME AND SERVE WITH RICE
