Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Soya chunks - 250 gms
  2. Cauliflower - 1/2 small
  3. Carrot -1 small
  4. Onion - 1
  5. Tomato -1
  6. Ginger garlic - 1 tspn
  7. Red chilli - 1
  8. Bay leaf - 1
  9. Cumin seeds - 1/4 tspn
  10. Green cardamom - 1
  11. Long - 1
  12. Haldi -1/2 tspn
  13. Chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
  14. Coriander powder - 1/2 tspn
  15. Garam masala - 1/4 tspn
  16. Pepper powder - 1/4 tspn
  17. Water for soaking and gravy
  18. Salt
  19. Oil

Instructions

  1. HEAT WATER, AND ADD SOYA CHUNKS AND ALLOW TO REST
  2. CHECK IF SOYA HAS BECOME SOFT AND ABSORBED WATER
  3. CUT THE SOYA CHUNKS INTO SMALL PIECES OR SIMPLY GRIND IN A MIXER
  4. KEEP THEM ASIDE ONCE DONE
  5. ADD RED CHILLI, BAY LEAF, ELAICHI, LONG, CUMIN SEEDS TO HEATED OIL
  6. WHEN THEY SPLUTTER, ADD ONIONS AND SAUTE
  7. ADD CRUSHED GINGER
  8. CRUSHED GARLIC AND SAUTE TILL RAW AROMA VANISHES
  9. NOW ADD TOMATOES AND COOK
  10. WHEN TOMATOES BECOMES TENDER, ADD HALDI, CHILLI, CORIANDER POWDER, GARAM MASALA
  11. SAUTE WELL TILL THEY LEAVE OIL
  12. ADD BLACK PEPPER POWDER
  13. SALT AND MIX
  14. TRANSFER GRATED CARROTS AND CAULIFLOWER TO THE MIXTURE
  15. ALLOW IT TO COOK FOR 5 MIN
  16. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER AND COOK FOR 5 MIN
  17. ONCE DONE, ADD THE SOYA PIECES
  18. MIX WELL, COVER AND COOK FOR ANOTHER 5 MIN
  19. MIXED SOYA VEGETABLE IS READY
