ABOUT Vrat sabudana cutlet RECIPE

This cutlet is easy to make and you can enjoy it while on fast .Its light and made up of sabudana,potato,paneer with mild spices,then shallow fried.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 Cup sabudana
  2. 2boiled potatoes
  3. 1/2 cup paneer
  4. 1tsp rock salt/seendha namak
  5. 1tsp black pepper
  6. 1tsp amchur powder(optional)
  7. 1tsp jeera /cumin powder
  8. 2 tsp peanuts powdered
  9. oil to fry
  10. For chutney
  11. 2 tsp peanuts
  12. 1 apple
  13. 2tbsp mint leaves
  14. 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  15. 1 tsp sendha namak
  16. 1 tsp cumin powder
  17. 1tsp black pepper
  18. 1 tsp sugar
  19. 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. 1CUP SABUDANA(SOAKED OVERNIGHT IN WATER JUST COVERING IT),2 BOILED POTATOES,1/2 CUP PANEER
  2. 1 TSP GINGER GRATED,2TSP ROASTED PEANUT,CORIANDER LEAVES.
  3. MASH THE POTATOES.
  4. ADD PANEER TO IT.MIX WELL
  5. ADD PEANUTS,GINGER TO IT.
  6. THEN SABUDANA TO IT AND MIX WELL
  7. 1 TSP BLACK PEPPER .
  8. 1TSP ROCK SALT/SEENDHA NAMAK.
  9. AMCHUR POWDER 1TSP (OPTIONAL),CAN ADD JUICE OF HALF LEMON.
  10. 1 TSP ROASTED JEERA POWDER.
  11. CORIANDER LEAVES..MIX ALL WELL
  12. APPLY OIL ON HANDS AND TAKE SMALL PORTION OF MIX AND SHAPE IT AS TIKKIS OR ROUND CUTLETS.
  13. MAKE ALL LIKE THIS.
  14. KEEP APPLYING OIL ON HANDS IN BETWEEN
  15. LIKE THIS.
  16. READY TO SHALLOW FRY.
  17. TAKE OIL IN NONSTICK PAN, HEAT IT.PLACE CUTLETS .
  18. KEEP SPACE OTHER WISE WILL GET ATTACHED.
  19. COOK AT MEDIUM FLAME.
  20. FLIP IT AS IT STARTS GETTING GOLDEN BROWN ...
  21. COOK FROM BOTH SIDES TILL CRISP AND GOLDEN BROWN IN COLOUR.
  22. READY TO PLATE.
  23. FOR CHUTNEY GRIND APPLE,CORIANDER AND MINT LEAVES,ADD ROCK SALT/SENDHA NAMAK,PEANUTS
  24. ADD CUMIN POWDER,BLACK PEPPER TO IT.
  25. ADD SUGAR ,JUICE OF LEMON ( MY APPLES WERE SWEET AND SOUR SO I DIDN'T ADD LEMON.)
  26. ADD LITTLE WATER TO MAKE PASTE.
  27. READY TO SERVE.
  28. YUMMY.
