ABOUT Boondi laddu RECIPE

This is an Indian traditional sweet from our Indian cuisine. It is made to serve during festive occasions and special gatherings.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Besan 11/2 cup
  2. Rice flour 1 cup
  3. Sugar 2 cups
  4. Water for making batter
  5. Cashews,raisins 1/4 cup
  6. Oil for deep frying
  7. Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add besan and rice flour
  2. Mix both the flours well.
  3. Add water and mix
  4. Make a thick batter with out lumps.
  5. In a pan add ghee and cashews.
  6. Fry them till they are golden brown in colour.
  7. Add raisins and fry.
  8. Transfer it on a plate.
  9. Heat oil.make boondi with the help of ladle holes.
  10. Fry them on medium flame.
  11. Take it out from oil.
  12. In a deep pan add sugar, water and make a two string consistency.
  13. In the sugar syrup add boondi and cardamom powder.
  14. Add cashews, raisins and mix it well.
  15. Make laddus
  16. Prepare all the laddus.
