ABOUT Grilled Healthy Pockets RECIPE

It is a tasty healthy combination. The colorful veggies would attract the kids and then in form of pockets they will enjoy a lot. It is prepared with very less oil as it's grilled and hence good for health and growth.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bread, 4 slices
  2. Peas, 1/2 cup
  3. Carrot, 1
  4. Singhara (Water chestnuts), 4
  5. Coriander leaves, 3 tbsp, chopped
  6. Schezwan chutney, 2 tsp
  7. Salt, 1/4 tsp
  8. Black salt, 1/3 tsp
  9. Sugar, 1/4 tsp
  10. Oil for brushing
  11. 4 tbsp Processed cheese, as required for garnish

Instructions

  1. ASSEMBLE ALL INGREDIENTS
  2. CHOP ALL VEGGIES WITH DICER
  3. ADD DICED CARROTS AND WATER CHESTNUTS TO BOILING WATER
  4. ADD PEAS TO IT
  5. ADD SALT AND MIX WELL
  6. ADD SUGAR AND MIX WELL
  7. SIMMER AND COOK FOR 4-5 MINUTES
  8. ONCE VEGGIES ARE COOKED, STRAIN AND KEEP ASIDE
  9. TRIM THE EDGES OF 4 BREAD SLICES
  10. ROLL THE BREAD PIECES THINLY
  11. ADD THE BOILED VEGGIES IN A BOWL AND MIX IN 2TSP SCHEZWAN CHUTNEY
  12. MASH THE VEGGIES SLIGHTLY
  13. ADD IN CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES AND MIX WELL
  14. NOW ADD THE STUFFING ON BREAD SLICES
  15. APPLY WATER ON CORNERS OF BREAD AND ROLL IT TIGHTLY
  16. SEAL THE EDGES
  17. BRUSH OIL OVER ROLLS
  18. PLACE THE ROLLS ON SANDWICH GRILL
  19. COOK UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN ON ALL SIDES
  20. GARNISH WITH CHEESE, SERVE WARM
