This is a favourite, quick side dish curry for breakfast that I serve with some just some hot rotis.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bhendi 250 gm
  2. Onion 2
  3. tomatoes 2
  4. Green chillie 2
  5. Red Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  8. Salt
  9. Refined oil


  1. Heat some oil in a pan, add chopped bhendi [lady fingers] . Saute and fry for sometime until the stickiness of the bhendi dissappears.
  2. Now add the chopped onion , mix and cook further for few minutes.
  3. Then add the spices, tomatoes and salt. Give it a good mix.
  4. Cook for some more time and this is ready to b served.
