Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rava 1/2 cup
  2. sugar 1/2 cup or less
  3. 1 Cup water
  4. kesar pinch
  5. cardamon powder
  6. ghee 4 tbsp
  7. cashews
  8. raisins

Instructions

  1. ADD 3-4 TBSP GHEE. ROAST CASHEWS AND RAISINS
  2. IN A KADAI, ADD 1/2 CUP RAVA
  3. DRY ROAST RAVA TILL YOU GET GOOD AROMA
  4. RAVA SHOULD HAVE SHADES OF LITE BROWN AND SANDY TEXTURE. SET ASIDE
  5. IN ANOTHER PAN, ADD 1/2 CUP SUGAR. ADD 1 CUP WATER
  6. ADD PINCH OF SAFFRON
  7. BOIL TILL SUGAR DISSOLVES
  8. ADD SUGAR SYRUP TO ROASTED RAVA
  9. BOIL THE MIXTURE
  10. ADD GHEE, ROASTED CASHEWS, RAISINS AND CARDAMON POWDER
  11. MIX
  12. TURN OFF THE FLAME. CLOSE WITH A LID AND SET ASIDE
  13. KESARI HAS CRUMBLED TEXTURE AND DOESN'T STICK TO HAND
