Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat 1 1/2 cup
  2. Grated coconut 1 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Water
  5. Chopped onion 1 cup
  6. Chopped coriander leaves 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. WASHED AND SOAKED 6 HOURS WHOLE WHEAT, ADD IN MIXIE JAR
  2. ADD GRATED COCONUT AND SALT TO TASTE, GRIND COARSELY
  3. TRANSFER THE BATTER INTO A VESSEL
  4. HEAT SOME WATER IN IDLI STEAMER
  5. ADD CHOPPED ONION AND CORIANDER LEAVES TO BATTER, MIX WELL
  6. POUR INTO A BOWL, CLOSE AND COOK FOR 30-40 MINUTES IN MEDIUM FLAME
  7. CHECK THE COOKNESS, ALLOW IT TO WARM, CUT IN SHAPES AND SERVE
