Cabbage jeera curd curry / Mosaru huli is very thick and tasty with roasted gram dal and soaked rice. It is very good accompany with rice, dosa, idli and so on.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cabbage chopped 2 cup
  2. Water
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Grated coconut 1 cup
  5. Roasted gram dal 2 tsp
  6. Soaked rice 2 tsp
  7. Jeera I tsp
  8. Red chilli 1
  9. Curd 2 tbs
  10. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  11. For temper...
  12. Cooking oil 1 tsp
  13. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  14. Urad dal 1 tsp
  15. Red chilli 1 broken
  16. Curry leaves few

Instructions

  1. CHOPPED CABBAGE, SALT TO TASTE, ADD ENOUGH WATER ,COVER AND COOK TILL TENDER
  2. COMBINE GRATED COCONUT, 10 MINUTES SOAKED RICE
  3. ROASTED GRAM DAL, JEERA
  4. ADD 2 TBS SOUR CURD, GRIND COARSELY
  5. ADD RED CHILLI 1, TURMERIC POWDER 1/4 TSP, CONTINUE GRINDING TILL SMOOTH PASTE
  6. CHECK THE COOKNESS
  7. ADD GROUND PASTE
  8. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER
  9. MIX WELL, CHECK THE SALT
  10. WHILE START BOILING FINELY, TURN OFF THE FLAME
  11. HEAT OIL, ADD RED CHILLI, MUSTARD SEEDS, LET IT SPLUTTER
  12. ADD URAD DAL AND FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN
  13. ADD CURRY LEAVES, TEMPERING AND MIX WELL, SERVE
