ABOUT Palak paneer RECIPE

Palak Paneer is a popular Indian vegetarian recipe where Indian cottage cheese is cooked with spinach. This is a simple homemade and healthy palak paneer recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Paneer cubes 200gm
  2. Palak(Spinach) 1cup/200gm
  3. Onion chopped 3
  4. Tomato puree 3
  5. Green chilli chopped 3
  6. Ginger garlic paste 2tsp
  7. Dry red chilli 2no
  8. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  9. Curd 2tsp
  10. Cream 2tbsp
  11. Bay leaf 2nos
  12. Oil 2tbsp
  13. Salt as per taste


  1. Shallow fry the paneer cubes with 1tsp oil in a nonstick pan.
  2. Take out and deep in warm water.
  3. Wash and clean the spinach leaves. Blanch and make puree.
  4. Put oil in a kadhai, add red chillies, bay leaves, chopped onion, chopped green chilli, fry till onions became pink.
  5. Add ginger garlic paste, tomato puree, red chilli powder, curd, mix and cook for some time.
  6. Then add cream, cook till oil leaves sides.
  7. Add paneer cubes, salt, mix well,cook covered for 5mins.
  8. Adjust spices.
  9. Now add palak puree, mix well, cover and cook for another 5mins.
  10. Serve hot with roti, naan, paratha or rice.
