Boondi Upma

Ingredients to make Boondi Upma

  • Unsalted Boondi 2cup
  • onion 1(finely chopped)
  • oil 1tsp
  • cumin seeds 1/2tsp
  • asafoetida 1/4tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • red chilli powder 1/2tsp
  • coriander powder 1/2tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  • water 1/2cup

How to make Boondi Upma

  1. Heat a pan and add 1tsp oil. Let the oil heat property.
  2. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Cook it for 30-40 seconds.
  3. Add finely chopped onions and cook it for 2 minutes.
  4. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder. Mix it well.
  5. Add Boondi, water and salt. Mix it well. Cover and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Boondi Upma is ready. Serve it hot with tea...or as a snack.
