ABOUT Chicken Keema with vegetables RECIPE

Everyone loves chicken. Chicken is a good source of protein. Now if vegetables are added then the dish becomes more healthy and it is also really good for kids.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 300 g chicken keema
  2. 1 carrot
  3. 15-20 green beans
  4. 1 green capsicum
  5. 1/2 Cup Green peas
  6. 1 large red onion
  7. 2 small tomatoes
  8. 6-7 green chilies
  9. 8-10 cloves GARLIC
  10. 1/2 inch ginger
  11. 2 Bay Leaves
  12. 4-5 pieces cardamom
  13. 4-5 pieces cloves
  14. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  15. 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  16. 1/2 TBSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  17. 1/2 tbsp cumin Powder
  18. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  19. 1/3 tbsp Garam masala powder
  20. 3-4 tbsp oil
  21. salt to taste
  22. As needed Hot water for gravy

Instructions

  1. Cut caroot, capsicum in cube shape. Cut green beans. Chopped onion finely.
  2. Make a paste of ginger, 5-6 cloves ginger and 4-5 pieces of green chilies.
  3. Heat the oil in the kadai/pan and add bay leaves, dry red chilli and the other whole spices. Also add rest of the garlic cloves. Then add onion and saute well. Add some salt not to burn.
  4. When the onion turns golden brown add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste and mix them well.
  5. Add tomatoes and mix well.
  6. Turn the flame of the gas into low and add all the dry spices powder except garam masala powder. Mix them well.
  7. Add chicken keema and keep the flame to medium. Mix the chicken very well.
  8. When the oil sperates add all the vegetables and mix them very well.
  9. After that add warm water and boil until the vegetables cook properly.
  10. Finally add garam masala powder and rest of the green chilies and mix. Turn off the heat and serve it with roti/rice/bread.
