This is a very suttle and essential Ramadaan recipe that is made almost everyday.The reason behind it is the cooling effect of Lauki.After a 15 hr fast the stomatch needs something cool and this is apt.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Milk 1/2 ltr can use full fat too
  2. Grated Lauki 500 grms
  3. Milk maid 3 tbsp
  4. Elachi pwdr of 4 pods
  5. Sliced nuts for garnish


  1. Take the milk and heat it.Once it is hot,add the grated lauki
  2. Let the lauki cook in the milk
  3. Add the elachi pwdr
  4. Add the milk maid
  5. The milk will thicken by this time.switch off the flame and let it cool.Refrigrate
  6. Serve cold garnished with sliced nuts
