Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Grated lauki/dudhi [bottle gourd] 250 gms
  2. 1 onion finely chopped
  3. 1/4 cup semi crushed boiled corn kernels
  4. Besan 1 cup
  5. Rava 2 tbsp
  6. Finely chopped Cilantro 1 tbsp
  7. Ginger garlic green chilli paste 1 tbsp
  8. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  9. Coriander Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Water for batter
  13. Oil for frying
  14. Ketchup for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix all ingredients except water and oil and mix well. Make the batter semi liquid as lauki/dudhi will leave its own water. Add water only if needed.
  2. In a wok heat the oil and once oil is hot using a spoon add the batter in the oil. Let it become brown and serve the pakoras hot with ketchup.
