Shahi Jorda shemai

Ingredients to make Shahi Jorda shemai

  • Vermicelli - 1 cup
  • ghee - 1/3 cup
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • water - 3/4 cup
  • Mix nuts - 1 handfull (almond , cashew etc)
  • Raisin - 1 handfull
  • Rose water - 1 tbsp
  • Green cardamom powder - 1 tsp

How to make Shahi Jorda shemai

  1. Heat a pan with ghee.. Add mix nuts and raisin ..Fry for 1-2 minutes then take out from pan and keep aside..
  2. Then add vermicelli and roast for 3-4 minutes on low flame
  3. Then add sugar , cardamom powder and fried nuts and raisin , Mix well ..Then add 3/4 cup water , give a good stir..
  4. Turn down flame , cover pan and cook for 8-10 minutes or till water evaporate and vermicelli soft enough..Add rose water , give nice stir..
  5. Turn off gas....Let it cool completely..
  6. After cooling down , jorda shemai won't be sticky ..
  7. Garnish jorda shemai with , nuts or anguri gulab jamun..
