ABOUT Blackcurrant pastry RECIPE

My son loves to eat cake, pastry so i have to make different flavoured cake and pastry. Blackcurrant is his favourite flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Refined flour- 2 cup
  2. Condensed milk- 100 ml
  3. Soda water- 150ml
  4. Baking powder- 1.5 tsp
  5. Baking soda- 1.5 tsp
  6. Butter- 2 tbsp
  7. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  8. Blackcurrant essence - 1/2 tsp
  9. Tutti frutti- 2tsp
  10. Rainbow sprinkles [as required]


  1. Take refined flour in bowl and add 1.5 tsp baking powder and 1.5 tsp baking soda. Sieve the flour.
  2. In another bowl take condensed milk and butter. Whisk it and make smooth mixture.
  3. Now pour condensed milk mixture to flour.
  4. Mix all the things well.
  5. Now pour soda water slowly slowly and whisk the cake mixture.
  6. Now add vanilla essence and blackcurrant essence.
  7. Pour the mixture into greased baking tray.
  8. Now bake it for 20 to 25 min at 180 degree in preheated oven.
  9. Now check with skewers whether it baked or not.
  10. After cooling cut the sponge into two halves.
  11. Apply whipping cream. Cover it with other slice.
  12. Spread cream all over which covers the full cake.
  13. Sprinkle rainbow sprinklers and tutti fruti.
  14. Cut into square shape and serve it to your kiddos....enjoy
