ABOUT Pizza-e-khas RECIPE

Sweet cottage cheese and khoya stuffed mewa (mix dry fruit) topped fusion pizza. One of my experiment with baking. You can serve it with evening time snak or as a sweet dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flower(maida)2 cups and more for dusting
  2. Dry yeast 1/4 teaspoon
  3. Sugar 1 teaspoon , Salt 1 pinch
  4. Oil for dough
  5. Cottage cheese 3 table spoon
  6. Khoya 2 table spoon
  7. Sugar 3 table Spoon
  8. Shredded coconut 2 table spoon
  9. Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  10. Honey 2 table spoon
  11. Finely chopped kasu-almond-pistachios 2-3 table spoon
  12. Tutyfruity (optional)
  13. Ghee or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Add 1and 1/2 cup Luke warm water to the dry yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar. Stir and leave for about 15 mins
  2. After that take Maida add the yeast mix well. Cover with a wet cloth and leave it for about 30 minutes.
  3. Hit ghee in kadai Mix the cottage cheese khoya sugar coconut and cardamom powder stir it for a while.
  4. After 30 mins take the Maida mix add oil and pinch of salt and knead it well.Take one bigger and another small ball of dough and make a bigger and a smaller thin round sheet of dough with a rolling pin.
  5. Now grease the pizza tray with oil or ghee sprinkle some flower all over the tray. Place the big dough sheet on it. Put the khoya mix on it.
  6. Cover it with the small round sheet .
  7. Wrap the sides and spread honey all over it.
  8. Now sprinkle cardamom powder
  9. Topped it with chopped kasu-almond-pistachios tutyfruity
  10. Spread little quantity cottage cheese on the top.
  11. Leave it for 10 mins.
  12. Bake it for 12 minutes at 200°C (convection mode ) in a preheated oven (at 200°C for 25 minutes ).
  13. Pizza-e-khas now ready. Let it cool , cut it in pieces and serve.
