ABOUT STUFFED PAV RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida 2 cups
  2. Yeast 1/2 TBS
  3. cooking oil two TBS
  4. salt 1/2 tsp
  5. sugar 1 TBS
  6. Water 3/4 Cup
  7. ( for veg) boil potatoes 3
  8. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  9. Cooking oil 2 TBS
  10. Red chill whole 2 no
  11. 2 onions chopped
  12. Curry leaves 10-15
  13. Groundnuts 2 TBS
  14. Salt 1/2 tsp
  15. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  16. Coriander powder 1/4 tsp
  17. Garam masala 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Sieve maida one time.
  2. Add yeast and make dough with lukewarm water.
  3. Cover it with plastic so that air should not enter and keep it aside for half an hour.
  4. Add oil, salt, sugar in dough and knead it nicely for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Again keep for 1 hour or making it double.
  6. Meanwhile make the potato vegetable for filling.
  7. In a hot deep pan take cooking oil, mustard and curry leaves.
  8. after crackle the mustard add groundnuts
  9. after the groundnuts are little roasted add chopped onions n potatoes.
  10. Cook it for 10 minutes on slow flame.
  11. Add all the spices n cook again for 4-5 minutes on slow flame.
  12. After fermentation of the pav dough make 9 equal size of rolls.
  13. Fill potato vegetable in each roll n make balls.
  14. Keep them in square shape 8" pan again for at least one hour.
  15. Bake them for 20 to 25 minutes in preheated oven at 200 degrees.
  16. We baking you have to remember that pav should be double in size.
  17. After baking cover pav with wet cloth for 5 to 10 minutes.
  18. Pav is ready to eat.
