Ingredients to make Kadhi Pakodi

  • Ingredients for Kadhi-curd-1 Cup
  • water- 1cup
  • ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
  • Besan/gram flour-1/2 cup(or little less)
  • Hing [asafoetida] - 2 pinch
  • turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
  • jeera [cumin seeds] -1tsp
  • Rai [mustard seeds] -1 tsp
  • Whole dry red chillies -2
  • oil- need for tempering & deep frying pakodies
  • salt as per teste
  • water as required
  • green chilly paste-1.5 tsp
  • Besan (gram flour)-1cup
  • Ingredients for Pakodi
  • salt as per teste
  • Garm masala-1/2tsp
  • Bayleaf-1

How to make Kadhi Pakodi

  1. Mix curd,gram flour & water well without lumps
  2. Heat 1 tap oil add Hing, Rai ,ginger garlic paster roast untill raw aromas goes off.
  3. Add haldi powder,garam masala & curd better into kadhai.
  4. Now add salt & add consistency of kadhi with water if required.
  5. Bring it to boil for 5 mins & turn off gas
  6. Now heat 1 tbsp oil ,add jeera,bay leaf & whole red chillies in this,
  7. Temper your kadhi with this tadka.
  8. Now make a batter with 1 cup gram flour,green chilli paste,haldi,jeera & salt as per yourr taste without lumps.
  9. Keep this batter for 10 min covered
  10. Heat sufficient be oil for deep frying pakodies.
  11. Make small size pakodies & fry untill golden brown.
  12. Remove it on paper towel
  13. Add this hot pakodies into kadhi & leave it for 20 minutes.
  14. Your hot hot kadhi pakodies are ready to serve.
  15. Salt-as per teste
  16. Water as required

My Tip:

You can use ghee in tempering your kadhi.
