ABOUT Imli ki kadhi RECIPE

This kadhi is my favourite. It tastes sweet and sour and goes really well with rice or just like that.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup tamarind pulp
  2. 1/2 cup curd
  3. 3-4 tsp gram flour
  4. 2 tsp sugar or 3 tsp grated jaggery
  5. 1 green chilly slit
  6. 5 curry leaves
  7. 1 tsp methi seeds
  8. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil

Instructions

  1. Take gram flour , curd in a bowl and mix well with some water.
  2. In a pan take oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilly, methi seeds and saute. Add grated ginger and give it a stir.
  3. Add mixture of gram flour , salt and the tamarind pulp. Add some grated jaggery or sugar and some water if required. Stir properly and bring it to boil.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
