Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup Wheat Flour
  2. ¼ cup maida
  3. ¼ cup basan
  4. 4 to 5 tsp Oil
  5. salt as per taste
  6. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  7. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  8. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  9. 1 cup curd
  10. Baking soda – a pinch
  11. 3 to 4 green chilli
  12. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  13. 1 tsp Mustard seed
  14. ½ cup grated coconut
  15. ½ cup onion
  16. 4-5 Curry Leaves
  17. ½ cup coriander leaves
  18. Fried chilli and onion for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl take wheat flour, maida and besan. Add salt, turmeric powder, little oil, curd and pinch of baking soda. Mix well and make loose dough.
  2. For the kachori stuffing in a pan take 1tea spoon of oil and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds when seeds starts to crackles add grated coconut, green chilli and salt. Mix well.
  3. To roll the kachori, take a small ball of dough and flattened in your palm. Now put the stuffing in the center and give dumpling shape.
  4. Steamed the dumpling in steamer for around 20 to 25 min
  5. Now in another pan take curd and add besan into it. Mix well.
  6. In a pan, take some oil add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves. Now add sliced onion into it. When onion turns brown add curd and besan mixture.
  7. Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and red chilli powder. Boil the mixture around 5 to 7 min.
  8. Now in a bowl put steamed kachori and pour the kadhi mixture on above it. Garnish with fried green chilli , coriander leaves and onion rings.
